Do you find yourself Googling ‘Why am I sad?’ more than you’d like to?
Why do you wallow in melancholy?
Do you genuinely believe that you are better off living in sad town than trying to find more happiness?
Would you like to be happier but have got stuck in the pity party?
Are you so damn scared of being hurt that you’d rather hurt yourself?
I promise that there is something better out there for you. But you won’t find it living permanently in Sad Town.
Check out my video to:
- Understand more about Sad Town
- Why you’re living there instead of hoping for a better home
- How the Terror Police are dragging you back every time you try to leave
- What you can do to stop falling for the seduction of Sad Town and start living more in the town of you.

You are so right – Sad Town can be seductive! It may be tempting just to stay, thus, avoiding the “dangers” that are outside. But there’s a whole other life outside Sad Town walls. We better remember that 🙂 Thank you for this video!
Thank you Anna for these thoughtful words. I wonder more about what sort of pictures we can fill in the life outside of the Sad Town walls with without being ‘fantasy-filled’. Visioning finding contentment or healing and a way around/forward/through or hand in hand with others might help the idea of what exists out there. What does an inner peace feel like? What does a lightness feel like? How do I get more of that, create the conditions to feel more (or less) of that lighter feeling is a question my clients are often leading from.
